A meeting to review the campaign and clarify how it can go forward effectively. All interested in developing an effective campaign to press for accountability of US military and surveillance activity at Menwith Hill are welcome.

The meeting will start with a shared lunch.

Venue: Carlton Hill Quaker Meeting House, 188 Woodhouse Lane, Leeds, LS2 9DX.


There are many US military bases in South Korea. There are many people in South Korea who are very unhappy about these bases. Francis Daehoon Lee is touring the UK on behalf of the People's Solidarity for Participatory Democracy, a South Korean NGO.

You are welcome to meet him at Menwith Hill Main Gates on Saturday 18th May 2019 at 11am.


There is a witness and protest outside the main entrance to the American base at Menwith Hill every Tuesday evening (6 – 7.30 pm). This demonstration has been going almost every week since July 2000. Menwith Hill is on the A59 Harrogate to Skipton road) and nine miles from Harrogate North Yorkshire.

Wear some warm water proof clothing and bring a high viz vest to keep you warm, dry and safe during the protest.

After a simple lunch help review what MHAC did in 2019 and help the planning for 2020.

A major item is the collaboration with CND on updating our research and a possible publication.

The planning for 4th July 2020 has to start now. There are several other issues that also need careful discussion, please come and join in.
