Military Spending is bad for the planet

Please note that we are approaching the end of the Global Days of Action on Military Spending (GDAMS) 2023.

The first day, 13 April 2023) marked the publication by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) of their annual yearbook which is an authoritative and independent resource on information about armaments, disarmament and international security. A summary of key information is attached.
The Menwith Hill Accountability Campaign will mark the last day of GDAMS 2023 with a Peace Witness at the Nessfield Gate of RAF / USAF Menwith Hill starting at 6pm Tuesday 9th May 2023. It will finish at 7.30pm.
All concerned about military spending are welcome to participate.
